OK, I bought a '98 Hyundai Accent (I got it for a REALLY good price I couldn't pass) from a friend. I'll be driving this car mostly winters but I want some tolerable sound in it anyway. This friend left a Blaupunkt MP3 headunit in it and wiring. He used to have an MTX amp and some huge subs in it. I know it didn't sound too bad but too much for me and definetely overkill for this little car.

He removed the MTX amp and subs before selling it and it sounds like total crap now. Can anyone give me some advice on where I can get a good, inexpensive amp and maybe a sub? I want it to sound at least close to what a Bose system sounds in our cars. I don't need more.

if you just want a little bass, go with one of those best buy deals where they give you the amp box and sub for like 200 bucks, not bad for all RF stuff.
