I always thought they were 7 1/2 inches. Went to Carquest to buy gasket for rear differentail cover and they said they have one for 81-97 Camaro's but it's 7 5/8. Confused. Where do i get correct gasket for 1994 Z28 auto 3:23 rear end? It's the factory 3:23 "performance axle". Do i have a limited slip or standard?

Local speed shop did that with my oil pan gasket. Leaked. Anyone know where to get correct gasket for my rear end cover?

 

7 5/8 ring gear with 28 spline axles The rear diff cover gasket is a 10 bolt.... Any part store stocks them.... Cost should be around 3-5 dollars....
