How much will and exhaust cutout help my 1/4?jp2002ls1 08-01-2002, 10:04 AM I am trying to find out how much time I can cut off of my 1/4 mile times with an exhaust cutout? my car is a 2002 Z28 m6 with a ram air hood and air box/K&N filter, stock exhaust and only some suspension upgrades, also how much will some lca's help my launch over the flimsy stock ones? TedH 08-01-2002, 02:07 PM The stock exhaust is pretty good on the newer cars with light mods. A cutout may get you a tenth or two and maybe a mph or two. In terms of launching, I would get some sticky tires before adding suspension pieces.
