Whats the standarded wheel size

I need to know what the standard wheel size is for a 1999 camaro ss. i measured from the inside to the wheel to the outside and i came up with 9.5 inches, is that the right size? And if its not, how would i go about in measuring. Thanks a lot, and hope to hear some replies soon.

on an SS its 17x9.5
on z28s 16x8

Real GM wheels are 17x9", Vettes have 9.5" option in various forms but only the C4 had 17x9.5" on all four corners. Aftermarket wheels on the other hand are often 17x9.5"

im preety sure ss rims are by 9 inches wide.....

Okay how about this then, I measured the tire itself from the very inside to the outside (from tread to tread) and came up with 10 inches, I don't know if that helps any but hopefully it helps. Thanks and hope to hear some replys soon.
