haveing trouble with stock cd player

haveing trouble with stock cd player

ok my stock bose cd player is being really weird sometimes it will take a cd half way in then sometimes all the way but when it does take it all the way it says track one and plays not even a second then sometimes it just doesnt even play had it fixed once but whats goin on?

Its a delco quality product, thats whats going on. Dlecos arent known for being super long lasting precision audio equipment. You can take your chances on a used unit off ebay for between 70-150 bucks plus shipping, or dish out over 500 dollars for a new one from GM. I would get a cd changer for the trunk, and not a over priced Pioneer made delco changer. I have a JVC RF modulated 12 disc changer and it works like a champ.
