What's a good project car for CHEAP?

First off, a black f-body rode my *** all day today and was harsh tailgating me...which one of you mother****ers was it?!

Okay so i need a project car to make my hot rod muscle car project:
Here are the candiates so far:
2nd gen Camaro/Trans AM
3rd gen Camaro/Trans Am
1st gen Mustang
fox body Mustang (kinda pricey )
76ish Ford Torino
early 70s Mopar

Any more suggestions?
which one is the best bang for the buck and the cheapest to go fast and look good?

Fox body mustang or sn95 5.0 would be cool but If I was going to do one Id get a 89 camaro convertable and build it up . I love 3rd gen rag tops .

Theres no going cheap man, instead of polluting your mind with crazy hp numbers and mods try and pick yourself up a nice 4th gen camaro/firebird and enjoy the car the way it is for awhile.

Spend the extra money and get yourself a car that will turn heads where ever you go. Not to diss any of the other gens at all but 4th gens are beautiful cars and somewhat steered away from the original looks of there older predasesors.

Early Third Gen. Camaro with a crate ZZ350........
Cheap and fast.
Also a 3rd gen can pull near a full G on the skid pad with a few suspension upgrades......

I gotta say a late 2nd gen camaro is the best bang for the buck. But if you want even cheaper go with a 2 door (hell, why not a 4 door) G-body. They have better straight line traction anyhow and for some reason they are incredibly cheap to buy right now. Just watch out for the rear frame rails rusting out, VERY common.

3rd gen are great they are inexpensive look good and are pretty light for a camaro.
i saw a sweet duster on horsepowertv today and it had a 340 w/360 crank lowered w/17 inch wheel looked good
i always liked dusters they look even better tubbed.

Jimbo....you talk more than anyone I've ever heard (or read) in my life. You must have asked this question in some way shape or form 5 times now, so it's time for you to sell that VW and buy a real car. Enough dreaming already....buy one!!!

Exactly my thought Every week you have a new plan but all you have managed to do so far is lose control of a 100hp VW
