Luks 100W H7 bulbs

Luks 100W H7 bulbs
I saw references to these in the various posts about the Hella FF75 housings but never saw that anyone had actually tried them.
Has anyone put them in yet? If so, how do they look/last?
I have the stock 55W in my driving lights (in stock fog light location), and while brighter than my low beams, an increase wouldn't hurt.
I like the bright white look, don't care about the blue tint. Want the most light possible so I am looking at non-tinted halogen bulbs.
Therefore, the Luks 100W H7.
So, any personal experience? TIA!

I had them for a while.
They are very bright - and for the price - you can't really beat them. I posted some pics of them in a thread a while back - search for the term "Luks" using my screen name and you should find them.
There is also a link floating around in one of those threads of a place to buy them for about $4 a piece I believe.
I would reccomend them - they last very long as long as you have the correct wiring done - hint, use the Hella wiring.

The link I found on here had RIDICULOUS shipping prices, like $12...
I found another place online (http://www.koollites.com/clear_halogen.htm) that had them for $4.88/each plus $8 shipping. It was the best I could find.
How do you replace the bulbs in these housings? I didn't see when I put them in... looked like the bulb connector was inside the housing?
Does the front face/lens come off or what?

Those two are the cheapest I ever saw - so take your pic - the reason I didn't mind paying the high shipping for mine was because I had already spent so much on other bulbs, and lighting products in general, when I found some that I could hold in my hand for $13 I didn't care how much of it was shipping and how much was product cost.
To change the bulb just take out the two bolts that hold the housing together and pull the front out of the back, then take loose the two plugs on the bulb, loosen the torx screw, and pull the bulb out.

I didn't realize the link in here was the same as koollites. I found that other one you mentioned by searching and it was the one that had $12 shipping.
Anyway, the Luks 100Ws came today, and I put them in.
I can't tell a huge difference, although it is still daylight outside.
They are a little dimmer than my stock low+highs together. So, I guess that's still pretty bright for driving lights.
How do you think I should aim them, since I'm using them as they intended (driving lights in stock fog location)? In between low & high? Same as low? Lower than low?

You should aim them like your fog lights were originally aimed - or if you didn't have fogs originally - that would be lower than the low beams. People tend to get really pissed off when fog lights blind them - so try to avoid aiming them up much - they are so low on the ground - the slightest bit up will be right in someones eyes.
