Halo LED replacement, anyone know how?
While using a buffer on my halo headlights I think I may have broken the LED in my halo ring. Does anyone know how to fix this and where I could buy new LEDs?

The write up in LS1Tech was exactly what I needed. I'm gonna put some brighter blue LEDs in mine. I went to Radio Shack to check out LEDs and they were outrageous for blue LEDs so I just went on ebay and picked up 100 blue LEDs for $4.99 shipped.

Can you post a link to that write up?

I just finished taking mine apart, pretty easy, just be careful when seperating the lens from the housing. I also went ahead and painted the insert with the halos in it black.

I went to the LS1 forum through the link here. The only thing is I can't get the write up to come up to learn how to do this. Does anyone happen to have this write up somewhere that they could send it to me??? Please, any help would be much appreicated!!

I just tried the link and couldn't get it to work either. I printed it out but the problem is I just moved so I'll have to find it. If I can find it I'll try to make a copy of it and send it to you.
