Camaro find of the week: '99 Monterey Maroon... SS?!?!
This car made me choke when I saw it.

Brief overview:
Monterey Maroon was a 2000 color, but some late production '99s were available in the color--45 to be exact, 32 were coupes, 13 were convertibles.
The one for sale is one of the 13 convertibles, has 19,999 miles on it, and is an SS?!?!?!?!?
Then I said to myself "Wait a minute... I didn't think any MMM Camaros were made as SS?!?!?!" and sure enough none were. The Autotrader page didn't offer a free vehicle history report, so I couldn't check the RPO codes there, so I googled the dealership. I find the dealership, and the car on their inventory...

And... I don't even need a carfax to tell it is a fake SS. It's a V6 disguised as an SS...
FAIL! What a disappointment!
On the bright side, it's one of the 13 MMM '99 Camaros. On the down side, it's not worth saving pictures of because who cares? It's been modified and isn't worth saving.

Nah, I'm 99% sure it's not Cayenne red. Cayenne red is so close to Sunset Orange in that sort of lighting. You're right that it looks lighter than MMM typically looks though.
