Reoving chrome from exhaust tips?
Is there any way to? I ahve the chrome tips on my flowmaster exhaust on my 3rd gen and I think that it's to flashy and cheap looking. Is there anyway to remove it besides cutting them off and welding on a new, different set?

Not if they are welded. You can always cut them off and add stock type replacement "turn-downs" from the parts store. They will be expanded to slide over your FM pipes, and just clamp them on. They even sell "band" style clamps that don't crush the pipe and are removeable for about $8 each.
It would be best to cut them off and have a better polished tip welded on at a muffler shop tho, it would be harder to steal.

Yeah I mightjust ahve to buy the replacement ones. I'd love these if they weren't so chromey, like if they were just plain steel, maybe I'll just ahve a shope make some, cut a slash on the end and weld them up.
