EGR valve bolts wont budge
I am replacing EGR valve on my 85 Camaro IrocZ I removed everything already except the valve itself it has 2 bolts and I don't know how to remove them. I can't loosen either one. Can anybody help me with any ideas on how to remove both of these. A friend told me i should torch it and then try to unscrew but it dont sound like a good idea to me.

If I may suggest... visit eBay for a spray product called "KROIL" aka "The Oil That CREEPS..." This stuff is nothing short of bright, miraculous Sun, making all other penetrating oils look like a Moon cast shadow!
If worse comes to worse and you have to employ a Propane Torch to heat up the flange, take three large towels and after soaking them in cold water, squeeze them out and carefully cover the areas of wiring, fuel and other engine components and then lay some aluminum foil on top of the towels just B4 you light the torch. The EGR stanchion pipe can take enough heat around the bolts to get red and with some quick turns via Channel locks, will break loose. Don't use any aromatic sprays, oils or solvents at any time while doing this for obvious reasons... with the car parked outside of the garage...and it never hurts to have a fire extinguisher handy as well (JIC) ;>)
