I'm in the same boat. A 2LT RS with a sunroof is my "dream" Camaro. But I'm guessing $28k or higher equipped like that.

I wasn't sure that "power seats, sport cloth seats (better cloth)" were part of the package as well. That was why I stated the question in the first place. The addition of those IMO place the package around $1000 but I don't think they would charge more then that.

What people don't seem to realize is that in a lot of cases when you are adding something that means you are replacing something that already exists in the package. So what is the cost difference between the standard wheels and the aluminum wheels? $400? What is the value of fog lights? $100? What is the cost difference of the seats? $100? What is the value of the floor mats? $75? That just leaves the power seats. The total aside from the power seats is $675. Do they cost $225? Maybe. That puts it at $1000.

No, I realize it, but I also realize that what it "costs" doesn't necessarily add up to what the consumer pays.

Does a Cobalt SS turbo Cost $10,000 more to build than a Cobalt LS? I doubt it.

It probably costs GM more to NOT have foglights on the LS, but they have to give you some incentive to upgrade to a 1LT.

I don't see the performance options in this guide (intake, headers, cat-back)

Not shown because they're dealer installed add-ons available through the Camaro Accessories program.

"Chevrolet will not have a Z28 model available in the first production year."

Sounds much more promising to me than if they were to have said "There are no plans at this time".

I will continue to hold out hope.
