I'm going to paint mine 69 Camaro Cortez silver, black stripes and a red interior when I get one. My 69 Z/28 RS was that color combo...but it also had a black vinyl roof

Do you mean the huggar orange "yenko"? If so thanks.
I painted it with a rattle can and it has 4 coats of modelmaster huggar orange with 8 coats of ultragloss clear. All 12 coats were wet sanded with 3200,3600,4000,6000,8000, and 12000 grit polishing cloth.
I would'nt call it a trick but my GF and I played with the lighting and after a 100 or so shots we got a few pics that showed the clear in the perfect light.
But all of the cars posted came out sweet. I love that maroon with white striped conv.!!!!
