Hello All,

I ordered a Cyber Gray 1SS RS, M6 a while back and in the beginning of June got tired of waiting and bought a black 2SS from Buff Whelan in Mi. My local dealer called me today with the news that it was built last week and is waiting to be shipped so it should be here in a few weeks.

I live in the Tampa Bay, Fl area- before I go to my local dealer to get my deposit back does anyone on here want this Cyber Gray 1SS? I'm not looking to make anything off of this. If a member wants it I figure I can tell my salesperson that I am no longer interested (and want my deposit back), but here is another customer who wants it at msrp.

I understand the dealer would have to agree to all of this but they have been pretty good to deal with so far. If this would not be legal or immoral I'll forget it and just get my deposit back.

Good luck getting your deposit back. Alot of dealers will not refund deposits even if there is another buyer. What sucks is they can do that legally.

You aren't going to see that deposit again. Why didn't you talk to them about your deposit before you finalized the deal on the black 2SS?

i have two camaros on order and both deposits are fully refundable.

Deposits are refundable. A good dealership would just give it to you. Some you will have to talk to your state and file a complaint. But in every state they are refundable. Some stated do require you to wait until the vehicle has been sold.

I was only posting this in the case someone in this area was tired of waiting and had interest in this one. Don't worry about my deposit, that's my business and not the topic here. Thanks for the concern but the dealer will refund my deposit.

Local dealers are still marking cars up so there won't be a problem selling this, I'd prefer someone gets it for msrp.
