We Need a GM Insider for info....Scott, please...

A couple of years ago my father was ordering a new GMC Sierra, and he really liked a color that GM was offering on another vehicle, but not the Sierra. I believe the color was "Space Blue". Anyhow, the dealer checked, and GM would paint Sierra's in this blue if it received 10-50??? orders for the color on the Sierra. Is this policy still in effect today? Alot of us want a jetstream blue Camaro, and this could be our opening to get Jetstream if we can get enough of us together.

apparently that's what happened with my orange 05 Silverado Of course the Silverado and Sierra are fleet vehicles, and I doubt the camaro will be.

Good luck to ya!

Yeh I remember them doing that. I really liked this silver they did on a couple of trucks I was looking at. It said a special paint option on the sticker. Would be cool if GM would do this on all their vehicles.

When the time comes to buy (which, for me, won't be for about two years), I'd be interested in a Camaro in LeMans Blue Metallic:

That's LeMans? I thought LeMans was a paler blue. That looks more like Electron Blue. Either way, whatever color THAT is, THAT's what I want on my Camaro. Not that pantywaist Aqua blue.

Host it on a website like photobucket and then copy and paste the address into the [IMG][/IMG]

This is my Pride and Joy. 1969 Camaro SS in Lemans Blue. I think jetstream looks pretty close, and I would love to have a matching pair.
