Forget for a moment what they did RIGHT with the Camaro...
What have they done wrong with this car in your opinion?
What would you like to see changed in future production?
For me:
1) The lack of T-tops as an option was a huge mistake. The others don't have it and the Camaro had the opportunity to capitalize on it. It isn't like t-tops is something new to the Camaro.
2) I think the V6/V8 models need more "differentiation" other than a non-functional "mail slot", a slightly different nose and SS letters that you have to be on top of the car to read.

And where did anyone say Chevy was unflexable about changes in future model years? As far as the weight goes, yes, that's beating a dead horse, since you simply can't get around safety issues requiring the "massive" amount of steel structure.

Very tired of all of the negative stuff, got over it. The car turned out great. The fact that you could only find two opinon based complaints is evidence of this fact. This kind of post is why I am considering leaving the forum till the car actually arrives.

Every first year new model has a few things which are improved in subsequent years.
The car's great as is.
Over the next few years Chevy will put in a modern dash and gauges, enlarge and functionalize the "mail slot", increase the HP on the SS (or add a Z28 (LSA please please please)) and it will be perfect.
It does no good to gripe. Appreciate what we are getting.
Chevy has a great line-up and it's getting better.

You people kill me. You'll be the ones complaining next year about the things Chevy should have addressed when it's too late.

It is too late now for the things you mentioned as it is. T-tops was determined long ago, design was completed not long after that. No need to complain about something that cannot be changed right now. This would be great as suggestions in the future, but "what they did wrong" is far from constructive. We've got enough of these negative threads going on that all end up the same way. No need to rehash them yet again.
