could be a special edition. but it never was. he said about the impalas 5 years ago. i dont remember any special edition impalas.

that may give you some insight as to what the 'TRANSFORMER" edition is -- and note that it is not a 'Bumblebee' Edition.

I did read the entire thread before posting. In fact, I can read between the lines. While GM/Chevy are calling it the "TRANSFORMERS Special Edition", their intent to create a Bumblebee replica is clear: it is only available in Rally Yellow. I gather their mentality is "its close enough, right?" Thus, a half-assed Bumblebee for fanboys. I go by the saying "If you can't do it right, then don't do it at all!" The color is my only gripe. It just not for me and I would laugh at anyone driving one.
