Great video. Every test brings up the V6 power and handling, the ride and refined feel of the car. It's obvious where GM put the money in for this car and where the weight came from. I'd like to see it up aginst a base G37 as opposed to the Mustang/Challenger.
The car seems to have more room in the backseat than the numbers suggest. Teh camera guy seemed ok!

This is where I really disagree with those who said the V6 should not have got the cowl. CTS 300 hp V6 and IRS with the cowl for low 20s is tempting. flat hood not so much.

what are single piston sliding calipers?

4 pot brembros on all four sounds good!

My understanding of it is as follows:

It means that the calipers ride on a slide that runs parallel to the wheel's rotational axis. This allows it to move side to side a little, which in turn makes it so that the caliper mounting bracket and wheel hub don't have to withstand the lateral forces generated by the caliper piston. It also means that pad pressure will be more evenly distributed between the inner and outer pads.

All of these reports seem to have a common theme:
Nice car. Smooth ride. Big backseat.

Really, I was hoping to hear something..............more.

Something along the lines of: Wow! Goddamnmother****er, this car is such a blast to drive, I'm not giving it back!

You know, something like that....

You have to keep in mind that these people get to drive new cars every day, which includes, once in a while, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Lotuses, and other exotics.

The only car I've ever seen cause a professional auto reviewer to react that way about was a Ferrari. If memory serves, it was the original F430.

So, pardon them for not shouting from the hilltops after they drive a $25,000 car.
