1LE / Z28 discussion. What do you like? What would you change
I am surprised this has barely been touched. They did a good job. Did they nail it?
I like
- the ZL1 Wheels
- the ZL1 spoiler
- Magna ride
- ZL1 exhaust
I dont like
- Firstly and MOST importantly to me, That ZL1 grille belongs on the Z28! In fact I would say the whole front bumper cover with the Z28 badge.
- Fill in the mail slot
- I dont care for the two hash marks.
- Not sure I like the two tone black hood almost Boss "Race Ugly". Does remind me of the fiber glass hoods.
- Not sure why if or or HID would not be offered but not sure how anyone else feels about that.

I like the hardware included in the 1LE package.
I like the tailpipes.
I don't like the black hood, mirrrors, rear spoiler, and hash stripes.
I wish the 1LE had the rear fascia, rocker extensions, and front splitter of the ZL1.

I was excited to see this but there are a few things I'd like to see To me it just looks like an SS with a few Zl1 parts thrown in.
Ditch the mailslot.
I'd like to see some pieces from the Jay Leno Camaro if possible front fascia, and hood.
I'd also like to see them open up the rear cooling duct from the Jay Leno car on this and the Zl1.

It would depend on how hardcore they stripped it I guess. I could imagine there could be a 1LE SS and a 1LE Z28.
1LE should offer Recaro racing seats (must be lightweight, no electronics on it), and remove the rear seats for a cage or a massive rear bar of some sort.

I love it, wish I could buy one. I was actually thinking about doing the Grand Sport slash marks on my 94, to make my bright teal look better.

I'd like to see it called Z28 and be all one color with a new front bumper, a different grill, and no fender stripes. I'd also like an LS7, racing seats, weight reduction, mandatory Z28 stripes like the Convertible Concept, functional brake cooling ducts, possibly smaller redesigned wheels, and a cowl hood with front induction. Keep the ZL1 exhaust and suspension. I'd like to see a focused Z28 and not a 1LE SS basically, which I'm sure just about everyone else wants to see at this point also. Hello GM, a Boss destroyer is what we need now.
