Backup Sensors

Backup Sensors
When in the production run were backup sensors installed on the Camaro? I notice that cars that don't have backup sensors have a emblem on the lower front fender. Anybody know the story on this?

The badge is behind the front wheels. about the size of a quarter. Your car being an early production car must have them. I dont know the production date of my car (maybe last fall) but it has backup sensors and no badge.

They are nicknamed Chicklets lol. GM has stopped putting these on the Maro and also the GM Performance Division badge under the hood has been dropped. Not sure when they started not putting the badges on but my car is a late 23K car and it has the chicklets and badge under the hood with no backup sensors.

Okay, now I got it. Here's the basic explanation...
- 2010 Camaro - No backup sensors, first and last year of 5th gen Camaro with the GM "chicklet" badge no the side (I think thinking about removing mine)
- 2011 Camaro - First year of backup sensors, no GM "chicklet" badge on the side

Do the 2010 models with the backup sensors not have the "chicklet"?
