Wheels for 4th Gens

I've seen a few posts complaining about the lack of wheel choices for the 4th Gens. Another post recently said you need to use the BMW-pattern wheels (5x120.00mm) because there aren't any other choices besides 'vette wheels, ZR1's, etc.

From what I've seen posted here, that's simply not true. There seems to be a very wide selection of wheels available for the 4th Gens.... maybe not as many as for other cars.. but they are out there.

List what wheels you are running, or have run on your 4th Gen. Any info on availability of various diameters, widths, offsets, finishes, and a rough indication of price would be valuable. A link to a photo will be good, either a catalog photo or a picture of the wheels on your car. Make sure the wheels are still available. I ran a set of OZ Racing Monte Carlos for several years, and I thought it was a good looking wheel, but they were discontinued a few years ago.

Just post below. When we get the list in good shape, I'll add it to the FAQ.

Ok I guess I'll go first...
Sportmax 962 (hyper silver) & 962GM (gunmetal)
Available for 4th gen f-bodies in 17 x 9 or 18 x 9.5
here is a link to the 962GMs: http://www.bigwheels.net/?location=w...%20Gun%20Metal
here is a link to the 962s: http://www.bigwheels.net/?location=w...Hyper%20Silver

Here are mine, they are 962GMs, 17x9, and I have painted them black to match my car

I sold those wheels to go with something different, but the guy I sold them to put them on an LS1 trans am and said that they work great. Here is a link with pics of them installed on his T/A:

Re: Wheels for 4th Gens

I have centerline telstars on mine, 15x4 up front 1 5/8 back spacing,I didnt need any spacers on mine. M/T sportsman 26 8.5 15 tire the tread width is only 4.8 dispite the rating,

in the rear I have 15x10s 5 inch backspacing, I have my rear narrowed 2 inches a side so thats why I have the extra 2 inches extra spacing on mine, they dont make a 15x10 in the right offset they do make a 15x8 with 5 inch back spacing that would work on a stock rear and sit how mine does, I wanted the extra dish on mine and I wanted a 10 inch wheel thats why I had moser cut mine down when I ordered it. I have M/T ET streets on the back 26 11.5 15

the price went up a lot sence i got mine i had only paid around 120 each for my front and 170 each for the rear in the past year they went up to 180 for the fronts and 225 for the rears.

BTW the weight on them are 40 for the rears with tires/tubes and 30 for the fronts, there a lot lighter than the stockers that came in around 55 each.

Below are two picks of my Z28 with Boyd Coddington Fury Wheels. The fronts are 18x9 and the rears are 18x10.

I believe these are extremely unique as I have not yet seen a pic of another Camaro with them.

Weld pro-stars. 15"/3.5" up from and 15"/8" in rear.

275-60-15 BFG G-force DR's out back and 165-15 unibrand tires up front.

The car is lowered 2.5" in the rear and 2" up front.
