C5 Rims, good deal? Need spacers?

C5 Rims, good deal? Need spacers?

From what I've read these will bolt right on my 1995 Z28 but may need to be dremeled first. Does anyone recommend spacers though? It comes with some from a 1998 which I know is different. Also, does this sound like a good price? Not much to compare them to locally. $400 with tires sounded good to me.

The factory Corvette wheels are 17 x 8.5" 56mm offset front, and 18 x 9.5" 61mm offset rear. They will bolt right on, and do not need spacers. However, they will sit a bit deep in the wheel wells, not a problem though, strictly appearance.

The "Dremel" issue arises because the 93-96 F-Bodys have a larger rear axle hub than the front. Using 97+ wheels, or Corvette wheels may require that you enlarge the hub hole in the wheel very slightly. I'd test fit them before using the Dremel.

Yeah, from what I read the "dremeling" is hit or miss because of variances in each individual car and isn't exactly a dealbreaker issue. Just wanted to confirm they were bolt on. Now I'll be able to have launches without chirping 2nd and 3rd since my current rear tires are bald making this a win-win situation. I'll post pics if I get them on today. Thank you.

I don't know why no one likes these wheels, I think they look great, but maybe it's because it's on a black car. Definately better than stock though. The rear passenger tire rubbed against the inner wheel well bottom and I probably got a little too liberal with the baby sledge, but I know it won't rub and no one will ever see it anyway. Thought it better to smack the **** out of it than have any risk of that tire touching it at high speed. Thanks for the advice, only took about 2 hours and I got to inspect some stuff and found out I have a Flowmaster cat back exhaust. I knew this sounded better than my stock 1994 Z28!
