Trying to figure out out what spacer I need
 

I have some 18x10.5 OE wheels with 295/25/18s I just put on the rear and they have 56mm offset. So they're basically hovering over the bump-stop bracket right now. Additionally, they look set in a bit too much so it looks weird. I want to space them out.

So I'm looking around and finding plenty of 20mm spacers which is around where I want to go (open to suggestions) but I'm concerned about the stock stud length not being enough to get the lug nuts on securely.

I've read around a bit and it sounds like you either need a press or you need to remove the axles to get the old studs out and put longer ones in. That sounds like too much surgery. Is anyone aware of a set that mounts to the stock studs and comes with it's own studs on it? I found plenty at 1.25" and thicker but nothing at the lower range. I was looking at the 20mm eibachs but again, I don't want to turn this into so much of a science project just to fit wheels on.

You won't find something that fits over the stock studs and gives you longer studs. Simply not possible.

If you don't want to change the studs out, your other option is to get different wheels with the correct offset.

That said, I believe it is possible to change the studs without a press and with the axles on the car. You just need a way to apply the right forces.

I agree either do it right and pull the axles to change the studs.Or better yet just get right offset wheels. When you over complicate thing trying to save money. Sometimes it just make matters worse.And possibly more dangerous.

I did this years back without too much hassle on jack stands. We carefully tapped the old studs out and tapped the new ones back on without too much trouble at all! I believe this was on the rears iirc too.

You have a 7.93" backspace with that wheel. The inside edge of your wheel/tire is exactly where mine is with 11.0" wide 50mm offset (7.93" backspace). I had to cut the projecting edge off the jounce bumper bracket, hammer the inner fenders and recenter the chassis over the axle with an adjustable panhard bar. If you add a 0.50" spacer, you will put the outside edge of your wheel/tire exactly where mine is. Using a larger spacer will move the outer edge of the tire outside the fender, when looking straight down from above. Pictures in post #9 in this thread:
