Angry Sumitomo HTR 35Z tires suck

Anyone have these? These are the worst POS tires i have ever driven or ridden on. I just had a set of 315/35/17's mounted on my car in the rear.

It feels like im driving a huge truck with 35" tires on it that are aired down to like 15 PSI. The handling is horrible. It feels like ive got slicks on it the way the back end sways. They feel dangerous.

I am 100% disatisfied with them. I will probably be making some phone calls.

I have a 1996 Z-28 with 17x9.5's all the way around. I have Sumitomo HTRZ's all around with 275/40/17's in front and 315/35/17's in back. I can't be more happy with them for the price of the tires, Mine rides very good and I have had no noise or any handling problems. With the 315's on 17x11's and having your car lowered, you might want to check and see if your rear axle is out of line. When I lowered my car, I used control arm relocating brackets and an adjustable panhard rod to center the rear. Just a thought

Don't buy Sumitomo, Toyo, Kumho...when a tire cost $100 less then its competitors there is a reason.

Car has been lowered and running 315 nitto drags in the back for thousands of miles with no problems what so ever.

My friend works at NTB, they get a lot of complaints about those. I use to have some Fikse Phantoms (BFG Knock Offs) they were great tires. I have Kuhmos now and they spin worse than the Fisks ever did.

As w/ any new tire I would go easy on them for the first 100 miles until all that greasy stuff wears off.

I have the Sumitomos and they are comparable to the Dunlop SP8000s. Not too bad.
