Siped.

Had my tires siped yesterday. Still goes sideways, however it seems like it isn't quite as abrupt--don't know if this is a sign that my tires are getting more ground or slipping more

Re: Siped.

sipes are the tiny slits that are cut into the treadblocks of tires

commonly found in all season tires. they act as teeth, and grab the road to provide extra traction

to have tires siped is to take a tire and add sipes into them via a siping maching
