Well this project has taken a little while to get together but here's the new Race Stars installed.

This forum was great for helping me figure out what I wanted for wheels so here's what I learned in here, then ordered, and then installed.

Front wheels are Race Star Industries- Drag Star’s 15X5” - 5X4.75 (2.375" BS) Summit Part Number: RCE-92-550244DP with BF Goodrich T/A’s size 215-70R-15’s

Rear wheels are Race Star’s Industries- Drag Star’s 15X8” - 5X4.75 (5.25” BS) Summit Part Number: RCE-92-580250DP with BF Goodrich T/A’s size 275-60R-15’s

Interesting. I haven't seen those wheels before. Do they clear the stock disc brakes without spacers or grinding the calipers?

What kind of power are you putting down that requires 28" tires in the rear? Have you corrected the tire diameter in the PCM? Have you gone to higher numerical rear gears to compensate for the larger diameter.

No spacers required. No grinding required. Stock wheel studs.

Seconded on the no spacers or grinding required, and I run 98-02 front brakes. You might want to change out those wheels studs though, as those wheels are NOT hubcentric (unless you get the hubcentric rings). Even then, with the shank style lug nuts the wheels use, they're nowhere close to being long enough to be considered NHRA legal and you will fail tech at the racetrack.

Love the wheels. They look really good.
