My Z4C came with chrome wheels from the factory, however I do not like them as well as the white ZR1s...so I am in the market for a complete set. Does anyone know anyone that has a complete set or an aftermarket vendor that offers these wheels?

I thought about trying to have chrome ones powdercoated but an not sure about doing so.

Appreciate any leads or thoughts!

You might keep a look out for a cheap set of grey one's and have them powdercoated. Then you could have some custom hugger orange "SS" emblems made for the center caps.

Not sure how "rare" the white ZR1's are, but I could see them being a little hard to find. It took me a couple months to find a set of clean original 96-97 SS wheels with the correct center caps for my car.

 

I do got a lead on a stock set of 17 X 9s in white at a good price to boot! Yea thought about powdercoating my set now. Don't need SS logos though as not looking to try to make it look like an SS...however some nice orange Z28 or 30th Camaro logos or even a Chevy Bowtie would look great!

 

wouldn't you rather start out with plain aluminum zr1 then have powder coated verses buying grey powder coated ones?

 

I just saw a red LS1 Z28 with chrome zr1's but had the 17x11's on the back and it looked dam good.

 

True, sorry just kinda "assumed" SS with white ZR1's... hehe. I had gray ZR1's off a 99 SS with 40k miles on my previous '97 Z28, which had the red bowtie center caps.
