Had this set of wheels in my attic for a few years, and finally got around to getting some tires on these babies. Went with the Toyo Proxie T1R. Only have a few miles on the tires, but they are a definite improvement over the dried out crappy firestone tires I had on there before. The rear wheels have 1.25" spacers on them, so the inner rim would not be any closer to the wheel well than stock.
