How low with 17x11's +315's?
Re: How low with 17x11's +315's?
If you do the BFH mod, roll the fender, run an adjustable PHR, and don't pick a big-running tire brand, you should be fine.
I've been running on 315 Nittos for 2 years, with no problems and almost a 2" drop. I recently changed to Goodyear GSD3's, and I'm getting a lot of rubbing now...
good luck

Just make sure to roll the fender lip properly so if it bottoms out on the tire there will be a large contact area, so you won't take shreds out of your tire. Stiff springs and shocks will help too, as well as taking it easy on bad roads. A better rear sway bar could help, w/ a bit of weight in the car I can hear it start to rub if I'm turning hard.

On my 97SS I have an Eibach Prokit (-1.5) with AFS "Grand Sport offset" 17-11" ZR1s. I run 315 BFG DRs which are pretty wide. I hammered just a little bit (I mean 1 or 2 hits) in the front of the wheel well and sprayed undercoating on it. I did not roll the lips. I have had zero rubbing in over 5k miles. I do have a BMR adj. panhard and centered the rear end.
Re: How low with 17x11's +315's?
I have this problem. Mine is lowered with Eibach Pro spings. I think it is around 1.5 to 2 inch drop. I noticed one day that there was a ring of rubber gone off the my Nitto 315's. I did take off the bump stops because they were cutting into the inside of my rims when I jacked up the car. When I have time, I will bend the inside of the fender lip upward and see if that will work.
