I have the painted Alloy 5 spoke wheels for my camaro.
I have winter snow tires on now and have been cleaning/bringing back the factory wheels to a really good shine.
I've washed them inside and out then lightly compounded one and then used a general mothers cleaner wax on it.
It's pretty smooth and clean, but is this going to last? in the past I found wax on wheels barely lasts for me with the heat and brake dust.
Also, on parts of the back it's still black and cruddy, is their any way to get that crud off?
Any other tricks I should try? I have all winter to play.
