I can say I got 22's on the back and can't drive anywhere.. here's some pics wondering what I can do without spending a whole lot of money if any. The only reason I choose 22" is that they were given to me free of charge, not by choice or I would be putting 20's on instead.

With out spending money: put the old wheels on.

Based on your pic, to make those wheels work, you will either need tires so short your ride quality will be like a car on roller skate wheels or you will have to modify the body to clear the tires. I cannot even imagine how bad the clearance on the front is.

Honestly, I would sell the wheels and get something that fits the car. In my mind it's the same as if someone gave you 100 gallons of diesel fuel: free is fine, but it's not going to work with the car.

What can I do to make them not hit that one area in the rear, There's plenty of space around the rest of the wheel.

Anything over 18” is senseless on a solid rear axle vehicle.... harsh ride, wheels and tires susceptible to serious pothole damage, easy curb rash, not enough tire sidewall to provide the tread compliance when cornering with a solid axle setup, resulting in poor handling, etc.

Looks like it might be a 28” diameter tire. You would need to cut at least 1” (maybe more) off the leading edge of the rear bumper cover. There's a sharp metal point behind the rubber cover that will need to be hammered back to prevent tread contact as the tire grows at high speed.. Then move the rear axle assembly back at least 1/2” using adjustable lower control arms. Might cause problem with driveshaft length, depending how deep the slider on the front yoke engages the splines on the tranny tailshaft.

Your speedo and odometer are off by about 8% (indicated speed is 8% lower than actual speed). Good chance for a speeding ticket. PCM needs to be reprogrammed for new tire diameter. If auto trans, shift points may need to be tweaked in PCM. May need to hammer inner fenders to avoid rubbing on bumps, when you take it off the jack.

Or, buy a tire that is no more than 27” diameter. Still need to program the PCM.
