Tough Times !!!!

been at the hospital all week with my mom and the results are what we all feared the most....... CANCER.

It is in her lungs and chest and areas through out her body. Her head has 5 masses in it as well that are probably cancer.

Everyone please pray for her and my family. I lost my grandmother to cancer and watched her slowly and painfully pass. The treatment seems as bad as the disease.

According to the Dr.'s, there are 4 "levels" of cancer and depending on everywhere the cancer ends up being and what "level" it is, she might not do treatment after seeing her mother suffer.

Just pray for her and hopefully she makes the best decision and hopefully she can suffer the least.

It is just alot to think about.

Sorry to hear it Lloyd, my mom died of cancer when I was a kid, she was always sick for as long as I can remember, like from when I was 2 or 3 it was always some thing. My mom did the cancer treat ments for 3 or 4 years, but your lucky in the sense your an adult. It always sucks when you hear news like this but growing up I always saw my friends with their moms and I knew I'd never have that every again, alls I got to come home to was an empty house because my dad was always working. Your a good guy, you'll be ok man. I never knew my grand parents because for the most part they died before I was born or lived in India.

My Dad died 2 years after being diagnosed with cancer. He went through all the treatments and made the best of what life he had remaining.

While I miss him badly (I'm 45 years old, BTW), those 2 years were the sweetest time I have ever spent in my life.

As I type this, my stepdad is in the hospital recovering from surgery because of cancer.

Death is unavoidable by any of us. What counts is how we use the time we are given.

Your family is in my prayers ...

Thank you for the prayers, everyone.

97z- no problem. I have to keep my mind occupied and I am continuing to work. If I just sat around and thought about it, I would be VERY depressed. Not to mention I need the $$$ so work seems like a good think to keep my mind occupied, LOL.

ALL Z - the finger was reattached and it is fine now. It work "almost" like it used to. It is just a lil numb on one side. It gets better week by week and after a few months, the scar will barely be visible and it will be working close to perfect. Luckily it was only from the last knuckle to the end that was ripped off. It would probably be alot tougher if more was de-tached. It looked like a zippo lighter when it happen so I am happy with the way it has healed so far.

First radiation treatment on her head is Monday. I have a 55 Chevy that I have been slowly building and when things like this happen, it makes you realize what your priorities are. The 55 can wait.

Lloyd
