Thinking about selling my Formula, any interest?
I'm considering selling my '93 Formula, as I'm looking to buy a new car and get out of LT1's. It's a M6 with 140,000 on the odometer. It got a brand new longblock at 100,000 miles. (I got papers on the engine)
Pros:
hotcam
ported/polished heads and intake
SLP cai
BBK headers
off road pipe
1.6rr
Spec stage 2 clutch (about 6 months old)
Cloyes heavy duty timing set
aftermarket oil and fuel pump (fuel pump is brand new, less then a week old)
Ed Wright chip
About 40,000 miles on new engine
95+ vented opti conversion
LT4 heavy duty pressure plate
160* stat
AC Compressor, hoses, radiator, plugs, wires (MSD), alternator, O2 sensors, serpentine belt are all fairly new
Has 97+ taillights
Cons:
Needs a new paint job badly, few cracks in the front bumper
Few broken plastic pieces on the interior
Reverse syncro going out. Goes into reverse, you just gotta jiggle it sometimes
Power window motor on passenger side is dead (go figure
)
Car sometimes starts slow when hot (prolly the solenoid is bad)
I cut off the exhaust to put in the new fuel pump and instead of getting it welded back on I'm gonna put a Dynomax bullet muffler on it and dump it before the axle.
The main problem with the car is the paint, it's in bad condition. The car runs strong, although I feel that the timing might be off a bit and would run better if you messed with it.
I'd start off asking $4,000 for it. Very negotiable price though, as I know the car isn't in the best of condition. Anyone interested? You're more then welcome to come look at the car as well, I'm in Spring on the north side of Houston.
