TFBA Board of Directors and Officers Search

Our newly formed Texas Fbody Association needs your help!! If you would like to volunteer to be considered for one of the positions below, please post up in this thread. If there are multiple volunteers, we may need to hold another organizational meeting and vote on the slate of officers/board of directors.

President -- take care of the "business" like getting non-profit status, etc., etc.; leading any meetings; work with Treas on money issues; work at events

VP -- help Pres with the "business" stuff; take over for Pres when Pres is not available; helping with the calendar of events; work at events

Sec -- document minutes of any meetings; help with the calendar of events; work at events

Treas -- collect dues/donations, give receipts and 1099's; work with Pres on money issues; work at events

Historian/Photographer -- take pics at meetings and events; take care of gallery of members' rides when that part has been designed; work at events

work with Board of Directors to create/maintain a quality club (all above positions)


Board of Directors -- (two from each generation of fbody) keep the interest of their particular generation of fbody first, while integrating this into the interests of the organization as a whole (like a lobbyist!! lol) when they make suggestions for future events (others can suggest too...); do research on feasibility of events that are suggested; work with officers to establish a quality club; work at events

 

Ok for those that could not attend last week's meeting, we are having a 2nd organizational meeting to decide on the Officers and solicit the Board of Directors so that we can move ahead with our goals and objectives.

This meeting will be held at Spring Creek BBQ in Grapevine (Main St. & 114) at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 12.
