Post Texas True Street Shoot Out!!

This event will be held at the track in Denton, Tx on Sept 7 this will be on a Saturday. The entry fee is 35$ and the pay out will depend on the amount of cars there is but right now for the first event they will pay as long there is at least 10 cars
500 win
200 r/u
100 semis

If there is more cars there will be a higher pay out .

Dont get this class confused with the Texas True Ten 5 class or the King of the Hill Class, this is a new class!! and hopefully a good one!

If any body needs the rules i can post them or email me
Thanks Lance

These are the basic rules
All lights must work head, Tail and brake.
No Rear frame alterations tubs may be altered to accomadate tires. (NO alum Tubs)
NO ladder bars or Coil overs (bolt on traction devices only)
One power adder i.e. One nitrous system, One turbo etc.
Production valve angle heads only
Tires - 10.5 max tread width or 11.5 DOT tires
NO lexan
Stock body panels (fiberglass hood ok)
Small Block 3200 lbs
Big Block 3400 lbs

This is the rules that are in place of right now but there maybe some additions to the list.

And what they are looking for is a true street car class but you can bring it on the trailer and im not sure but i dont think it has to be inspected but im not 100% sure on that rule these kind of rules are still up in the air for discusion. But these rules that are above are for the first event so they can see what kind of turn out they will have. These class should be ruinning from mid 6's to mid to hi 7's in the 1/8 mile for the first time out.
