Sportbike for sale in DFW area- $3500
i found another bike i just can't do without, so i'm selling my baby. this is a good starter bike that's still fun & super reliable. i can send pics if you give me an address. i'm going to florida from saturday-monday to get my new bike, so be patient if i don't respond during that time.
1997 Honda CBR600F3 w/93 frame (cheap insurance) 24k miles, i bought it with 12k.
mods: d&d header & carbon fiber pipe, k&n, jet kit, stainless steel front brake lines, two bros rearset adaper plates, kevlar clutch, 520 chain conversion w/vortex sprockets (+2 rear), gsxr pass. pegs, frame sliders, custom paint, powercoated wheels, flush mount blinkers, good tires, lots of extra parts.
best pass was 11.67@118 and 7.54@97 in the 1/8th. it could go a little quicker, but i'm just now getting the hang of launching it.
cosmetically it looks pretty good. i painted it myself and it has a few flaws in the clearcoat, but most people don't notice until you point it out. it starts, runs, and rides great-very reliable. like most bikes it's been layed over. the gas tank was fine and i fixed or replaced the plastic that was scraped up. the rear subframe (under the seat) might be ever so slightly twisted, but i didn't even notice until i had it about 6 months. there is also a very shallow dent on the main box frame on one side, and some hammer mechanics on the inside for clearancing (i have a pic). what twists it has or doesn't have are VERY minor and it rides and steers just like it should. i just want to be up front about it because i was unaware until long after i bought it. the title is still clean, not salvaged or rebuilt, in my name and no leins. if you are under 18 or have no way to pay, don't waste my time.
