I'm going to be firing up the Z28 for the first time in a long time. Got all my bugs worked out. If the guys wanna meet over at my house and then go for a cruise, that's cool with me. I'll fire it up, so you can here the cam, and the Mustang if you want.

I can't post on CamaroV6 right now, apperently there is some sort of 48-72 hour wait on the server being changed by the web-master. So with Road Runner I have to wait it out. E-mail me, PM, or AIM me.

 

its 5:30 pm and i just came into work. i get off tomorow at noon. kevin, you wanna come over tomorrow and help me get the car in order for wednesday? i work 11p-7a sat/sun and then go out of town till wednesday. so i need to get the car ready now or i am out of luck. need front brakes, fast toys ram air, hpp3 tunning some trial/ practice launches, swap out tires....

Brake pads, Brake parts cleaner, new rotors?

If you are getting your old rotors turned, you need to make sure you can do it all same-day? AutoZone doesn't always have a guy on staff to turn rotors, and if so, it usually takes a couple hours and that is the absolute soonest for turn-around. If there is a brake shop in your area, you might be able to pay them to turn them on the spot.

I'd kinda like to do it at my house, so I have access to power & air tools. Is that possible? Getting the caliper bolt off can sometimes take a bit of brute strength. And its a big-@$$ bolt.

I'll call AutoZone off of Grissom to see if they can turn rotors if I bring them in around 2 or 3PM and get them back same day.

Is it possible to borrow your HPP3? Not sure if your '01 is compatible with the computer in my '98 but I was curious, remembering something you said about it not VIN-Locking if you deleted/cleared your settings? If not, cool. Just trying to fix my speedo.

I need to give you a ride to experiance the difference of my newest additions.

 

blig, its 3 am saturday and i havent stopped working since thursday. i aint going to be able to do nothing but sleep saturday. i'll ive you a call when i wake up, but it looks like my car is going to have to wait till maybe monday.

If it has to wait, I am free all day Monday, and if you want to do it then - bring it over to the house, I'll get the radio setup, get some drinks and we'll have ourselves some fun getting it all done!

blig, i dont think we should do it at your house. i am dripping oil very bad. i cleaned the underneath of the car and 5 minutes later i was dripping all over again. man, can nothing ever go right?
