SA Weekend Lake Cruise

Many of us have been talking about getting some events going. Ben and I discussed a lake cruise to Canyon or Medina lake. Actually I'd like to do both this summer. So I guess I'll help get the ball rolling.

Basically we'll set a date for the first one and whoever shows up goes. All family and friends are invited of course. It will be Bring Your Own Stuff.

Just a brief poll:

Canyon Lake or Medina Lake?

June 28, July 5, or July 12?

My preference for a date is sooner than later so we can do another one before school starts. Either lake is fine with me. Both are high now due to recent rain.

July 12th, the 5th will be packed, and Canyon. I might have access to a boat and since the car is still in the shop I would drive the truck.

How are the roads to the lake itself, paved or dirt? I only have et streets on the rear, got rid of my street tires. Any weekend would do for me, but as long as there is no threat of rain.

Okay heres the deal i MAY have access to a trailer not more than 30 yards from the actual lake (Medina) it belongs to my aunt. She mentioned if i ever wanted to stay the weekend up there i could just ask her for the keys. So we will have INDOOR bathrooms, running water, a fridge to keep stuff cool, and im sure they have a barbuque pit there too. I can ask her and see if shes still willing to give me the keys. If shes okay with it cool but all responsibility is on me so PLEASE act accordingly. THEN AGAIN THIS IS IF EVERYONE ELSE AGREES WITH THE TRIP. So what do you all think?

My question is about space. How many cars do you think could comfortably park around the trailer? Is there enough room for 10 - 20 Fbuds and their families for lake access? What about if a few of us brought little BBQ pits?
