Post Need help with engine: SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!!!

As some of you may know, I blew the motor on my 93 T/A about 2 months ago. I have successfully hunted down an engine that I believe is a hell of a deal. The problem is, the shops here in S.A. want more than I'm willing to pay to drop the motor in.

The bottom end consists of speed pro forged pistons, redone PM connecting Rods, GM forged crank, and total seal piston rings.

The top I'm using stock heads, cam, etc. I'm gonna get a stock gasket kit.

I need help assembling the heads and dropping the motor in the car. Naturally, I want to make sure everything is hooked up properly, which is why I am requesting the help of people who have actually disassembled/reassembled and swapped out an LT1 motor before.

I am open to all offers, all the beer you can drink for the task is on me, along with plenty of dough to boot.

For those of you who think you're qualified and interested, you can post your rate here or PM me, either method is fine.

I can't help you personally, but my mechanic here is only charging me 6-700 for a long block install. he is in bryan texas. I don't know if this helps at all. I bet if you shop areound you could find an install for that price. good luck finding someone knowledgable to help you

The guys down here want $1450, that is for heads and engine though. I was hoping someone else had done this before. Oh well, If all else fails, I'll have the car towed to Bryan and have him do it for $700, thats better than $1500

Ryan, how much would you do a cam install on an LS1? Including new valve springs?

Well, the best offer I've received has been from AHARTZ28 for $700. But, he lives like 5 miles away from my house, so the $50 wouldn't benefit me much, cause I'd have to have the car towed to College Station.

I AM taking my old block and building a KILLER 383, the best this board has ever seen. It'll take me like 2-4 years to get there, but I'll take your help on that.
