Need to have a rim repaired/re chromed, any suggestions? Also, hookups on paintjobs?

I've got a 17"x9.5" Chrome ZR1 rim that had the lip broken off, and I need it repaired as well as rechromed. Anyone got any hookups in the DFW area or know of a fair-priced good quality shop?

Also, I am looking to get a 1996 white camaro repainted to Sunset Orange. All the prep work will be done, all that it will need is painting/clear coating. I was quoted $900 by one shop, anyone else got hookups for this?

Thanks for the help!

I dropped off one of my Enkei's that had some rock chips. It actually got blasted by a sand spreader one winter. Some sanding and new paint is all it needed. They actually removed metal and left grooves in the rim. When they tried to work out the grooves they just made the rim so thin that it can't be worked on anymore and to top it off all they would do is offer my money back for a wheel they BUTCHERED that only needed PAINT to begin with.

No place around here chromes wheels and does a good job of it supposedly. I got my rim back and they did a fairly good job with the exception of two TINY pinsized holes in the repaired section, NO BIGGIE!

When you say all the prep work will be done, what do you mean exactly? I know somebody that paints, but thats kinda vauge on the prep work. Do we just have to tape up the windows and spray it?

Exactley. All that will need to be done is spray the paint followed by clear coats. I recieved a quote of $900 from a shop nearby, for going from white to Sunset Orange with 2 white strips under the clear coat. Any estimate from you?
