Damn I'm glad summer is almost over. I found out that my a/c compressor somehow has a crack in it. I didn't hit anything (confirmed by the shop), so I have no idea how/why it cracked.

Anyone have one, or know of a good place to get one besides the dealer? I figure a nice used one should suffice. Its my understanding that both the LS1 and '98+ V6'ers have the same compressor, so they should be common.

I'm also pissed because I popped for a lid and a set of Z06 18's (waiting on tires now), all BEFORE the a/c went to sh*t. Crappy timing. Now it will probably be another month before I'm rolling on the Z06's...I can't wait!!!

Unfortunately Vince has an LT1 compressor which is different from the LS1.
