I just bought some LT1 Aluminum stock heads that are already resurfaced and cleaned. They have new 1.94/1.50 SBI High-Flow Vavles. A 3 angle vavle job, Comp Cam harden locks and retainers as well as Comp Cam .525 lift Conical Springs. All this being brand new. I ordered them disassembled to do a little bowl work and possible pocket porting if there is time. I got all this for $525 shipped to my house. No core charge needed. So I went this route than to have my heads rebuilt over.
There is nothing wrong with the heads, just thought this way would be faster than spending 2 extra weeks waiting for a shop here in San Antonio doing them.
I also ordered Summit 1.6 Roller Rockers with 7/16 Stud, Comp Cam 5/16 Pushrods, APR head Bolts, APR Screw in Studs, Summit Guide Plates and Felpro Perfomance Head Gaskets to round it out. Price on this was $398.96.

Not a bad deal for $925 total. Didnt go with a cam to try and keep it a bolt on car. And besides with the 1.6 RR it makes my stock cam go from a .447 I / .459 E to .477 I / .490 E. Not much need for a Hot Cam now.
