Re: l.g. motorsports

I have heard different things about them, just like any shop.

My local shop of choice is Lethal Performance here in San Antonio

Re: l.g. motorsports

Used them almost exclusively on my street car.

For great, all around performance, they are probably the best in the area.

What are looking to have done?

From my personnal experience Lou is one of the nicest guys around. The parts and the work done is top notch. Like said though, stuff can get expensive there.

Re: l.g. motorsports

well, im lookin into gettin heads and cam setup for my daily driver street auto. im lookin at 3 setups. one is mti 2e heads with their x1 or g1, the other is lg motorsports g5x1 or afr 205? this would be all street no track. not trying to rip 10's or anything. just something nice and potent to run with the best of em and take down some cobras. oh yeah, im gonna run a 3200 stall. so thats why i need feedback? looking for atleast 415rhwp on an a4.

Re: l.g. motorsports

I know of several LGM cars putting down a LOT more than that using his head/cam packages. You should discuss your needs with Lou, though.

Expensive is a relative term. Of all the things I've purchased from LGM, I've found them to be quite competitively priced when comparing apples to apples. Lou doesn't sell cheap parts ... only top quality. And because of that, he stands behind his parts, too. If they break, they're replaced or repaired.

I recall once some one buying a used LGM torque arm that had the rear mount cracked. Lou repaired it at no cost ... for the 2nd owner!

You should give LGM a call. Ask for Lou or Anthony and tell them Mitch sent you ...

Re: l.g. motorsports

In the past, some might not like the service they got....but that was usually from a phone salesman or something.

Deal with Lou and Louis and you will be satisfied with your purchase.

Great guys and fun to deal with.

I was impressed, just got a dyno run though. Lou showed up in his vette and looked over my sheet. He was asking and advising which direction I wanted to go.
