Cool Gauging interest in my '95 Z28...

I've got a '95 Arctic White LT1 Z28 6-spd with t-tops that I might be interested in selling. It's got few mods: G2 CAI w/ K&N, Taylor wires, NGK plugs, MSD coil, cutout, short shifter, dual gauge pod (autometer gauges), ws6 muffler w/ turndown (V6 type) tips.

Hasn't been ragged on, I bought it COMPLETELY stock less than a yr ago and have done everything myself. I've only taken to the track once and ran it twice, and couldn't get traction enough to make a good time(I'm no good with the clutch and I also didn't stall up any!) It runs like a top and leaks NO fluids. I did the intake leak fix about 2 months ago. Also changed out opti, plugs, wires, coil, alternator, starter, and all fluids within last 4 months. Water pump was changed about 20k ago. Car has never had anything but Mobil 1 syn. (even has the Mobil 1 fill tube). At shawn's (mod on tx board here) work I had it dynoed, put down 268 hp/ 304 tq with just intake/cutout! Pretty good numbers for mostly stock.

Interior is as close to perfect as possible for miles/yr. It's got the rarer red and black cloth interior with bose 5 speaker cd system(all speakers sound great still). Only problems are tear in driver's seat bolster and console hinge is broken.

Paint is perfect in all places but the nose. No dings or scratches. The nose has a few rock chips and some paint webbing from road use and my father drove it in our garage which is at an angle and hit the bottom part. Nothing major.

Car has 130k miles. Almost 75% hwy miles. Owner before me drove it from the coast to east tx all the time to see his gf. I've gotten 29.5 mpg out of it numerous times driving to and from school! It also has a black tail panel with reflective letters and overlays(looks cool at night, see pics in sig)

All pics are in my sig, I'm gonna claybar and wax it tonight or tomorrow, and will post some more newer pics tomorrow.

I'm looking to get somewhere around $6000 for it, but am definately negotiable. Has a clean carfax report and title is in hand and in my name. Send any questions to irockyle@neo.tamu.edu or PM me and I'll get back ASAP.

Thanks for looking and sorry so long,
Kyle

Just a jump up to the top. I claybared it last night and waxed it and it looks GOOD. I'm gonna post up some pics of it tonight on the link in my sig.

Also wanted to vouch for this car. The interior in this car looks like it is much newer than a 9 year old car should be. Looks/drives like it was very well taken care of.

Good luck selling it Kyle

PM's returned.

It's funny how many people think that just because a few cars on this website sell for 3000 dollars that one in great condition should be sold for the same!

thanks again for looking guys

I always thought OBO meant or best offer. If your car is so special, it is your responsibility to let the whole board know. What exactly do you have on the car that increases the value so much? You sure do like to jump everyone’s case when they are GENEROUS enough to offer you ANY kind of money. There is no way you will see $6000 for a kid driven, kid worked on, 9 year old, over priced, and over driven car. Now THAT is funny.

Charlie: Thank you very much for treating this like a normal business environment. Very much appreciative.

racin jason: kid driven and kid worked on? Are you kidding me??? I'm 20 yrs old and I've been working on my own and friend's cars since I was 14. Not working like, "hey, I put in an airfoil!", but like I've completely put in an engine before piece by piece and it ran PERFECT the first crank. I've only had the best professional help (my uncle and father OWN a shop) and the best tools and equipment. I NEVER rag on my car and very rarely even push the pedal to the floor.

And OBO means that you can offer something close to the asking price, not LESS THAN HALF!?!? Why in the world would I consider selling something for the price of a beat up saturn? I'm asking what the car is ACTUALLY worth. Now that might be hard to find a buyer in these times, but I'm not pressed to sell. If someone wants a well taken care of car and would rather buy something they can see in person rather than on ebay or something, then this is a great deal. If you think I'm going to take a paypal of 2500 dollars and give you my car, then you need to go look in the impound lots or something, not here.

Thanks for trying to make me look like a jackass.

Another ttt.

Oh, and thanks for the help rick. It's rediculous some of the offers people give on here. Makes the good ones seem far and between.

What's up with the t/a? Finish it yet?? Oh, and is it me or did I see that you're looking for LT1 parts?!?!?!
