FS: 82 Z28 for parts or fix-up
FS: 82 Z28 for parts or fix-up
A guy I used to work with received this car as a wedding gift. He drove it for many years, then put it in storage until his daughter turned 16. The girl was at the mall [what are odds] and some guy clipped the front end.
He didn't have comp/collision insurance, so he drove it home and parked it. He decided not to get it fixed.
He wants to sell it to someone that will love it or use it as an organ donor.
Many new parts worth more than the car itself:

Many new parts worth more than the car itself:
- tires (brand new "NailGards", only 500 miles)
- water pump
- fuel pump
- distributor
- catalytic converter (passes TX emissions tests with flying colors! ;^)
- egr valve
- wiper motor
- belts
- hoses

I'm pretty sure the car is a 305 TBI, I don't think it's a CFI wasn't that only available on the 'vette for '82?
I don't know how many miles are on it. Please contact Dave for more info. His e-mail address is above.
I know he drove it home from the mall where the wreck happened. I don't know if it would make it to Houston, though.
Rowlett is a 'burb of Dallas. Northeast to be exact.
