Baby is on the way and I need to get rid of my newest toy:
1985 Corvette – Medium Blue Metallic




The previous owner is a family friend. I purchased the car from him back in March of ‘05. Here is what he had done to the car before I bought it:
- new shocks
- new tires (Michelin)
- new magnaflow exhaust system
- new retractable antenna motor
- replaced the hoses that are in/out of oil filter.
- new rocker arm cover gaskets

The following was done by after I purchased the car:
- front end alignment
- new emblems all around
- Misc interior items
- new corvette car cover
- Complete detail...including clay bar and about 10 coats of Zaino.

The only flaw it has is the air conditioner needs charging yearly. It has some 66,450 miles and I am confident they are original. The previous owner had it for three years and put less than 3000 miles on it. The motor is strong, does not use any oil...the previous owner have serviced it every spring with Mobil 1 and I changed the oil in it when I got it home from Colorado. When driving from Colorado to Texas it averaged 25mpg running 75mph. Since I got it home it’s been out of the garage maybe 6-10 times and I bet I haven’t put more than 200 miles on it. It currently has a nice cozy spot in the garage under its cover.

Do you still own that '98 Formula I sold ya? Man, I sorta miss that car (not the payments though).

I don't have the formula anymore. I sold it to a guy in Oklahoma. I believe he was going to turn it into a drag car. Last time I spoke with him, he had dropped several $k into it. It'll be sweet when he gets done.
