Yeah, still here but tired of the damn rain!!!! There is a tropical storm that MAY send more rain our way!!!!
In reply to Gord's Green Z28, I don't think the riverwalk flooded. Yes the water is always close to the bank (sidewalk), but it doesn't flood because the rivewalk area is a "u" shaped piece that comes off of the main san antonio river as it flows thru down town. There are flood gates at both ends of the riverwalk where it meets the main SA river. When there is a flood the flood gates go up and all of the water shoots right past the riverwalk and down the SA river (which has huge concrete walls up each side to allow it to hold all of the water). There has been at least one time when it went over the gates I believe, but I don't think that happened this time (that takes a lot of water).

The rain got part of my car. At least the daytime running lights so I don't have any blinkers right now either. Water got into the housing someway and burned out the bulbs. And I live in the Woodlawn Lake area so most of you people in San Antonio know what happened around me. Thank goodness it didn't flood too bad in my general area.
