Even though it looks like the eye is going to pass pretty close to us and everyone is freaking out, I plan on staying. 2 of my 3 roommates are heading home to Fort Worth. Some other of my friends are buying supplies, I bought a bottle of Rum. What are my fellow Ags planning for the weekend?

Oh I’m also going to shoot some video with my digital camera; I’ll try to keep it updated through the night during the storm. I’ll post that in the Lounge.

I'm definitely staying. We're having a party at my house on Friday night. It was supposed to be a ring dunking party (I got mine today! ) but as of right now it is being officially named the Hurricane MargaRITA Party. We're having a keg and probably making some margaritas. It just wouldn't be right going into this sober!

I'm sticking around. Already stored my cars, have most of everything we need and ready to see what it has to bring. Friend coming up from Baytown might be staying with us...We'll see how bad it gets. I think it will get windy and rain but nothing too severe.

People are over reacting here.... I think its kinda funny..... Food, water, batteries, and gas cans are the big items... I bet these stores love this, with all the money they are making..... But the one thing I dont like is the gas prices going up and the storm hasnt even hit land.... Someone's raking in the bucks at our misfortune.....

It was reported that Exxon yielded the highest first quarter profits this year EVER recorded. More than WalMart even! Gas companies are making a killing and it's only going to get worse. There will be a spike around the hurricane but it will climb because they're shutting down refineries and some will be damaged with the high winds. I'm really trying not to over-react. I'm just going to make sure my cars are in a safe place and i have plenty of snacks for a few days...

No, open till 6pm. Closed saturday. Lots of "evacuees" in the parking lot, taking spaces and being, mmm loud when I was there. :blah: oh well. looks like we're hardly going to get anything here now. what a jip.
