Good Luck....I guess you already know, sport cars are usually the highest..... Plus your age and driving record.... Get defensive driving course ($25.00 and 6 hours of boring tapes) and alarm that will help...

I was in the military and have USAA insurance, they keep you even after I got out..... I only pay $600.00 year for liability...

GOOD LUCK

Progressive in TX doesn't give discounts for defensive driving or alarms.

But you can try discounts, such as Homeowners, multi car.

Just call your insurance company and ask them.

Also, they do give discount for a theft recovery device. But geez that's a lot of money for that thing.

My mother is an insurance agent. Though she only does it in her spare time now that she is back with DPS.

My insurance was $108 a month full coverage and $500 ded. I forget my limits... and i had 2 tickets.

Though i was with a company that credit scores(<<--Best way to get great rate if you have good credit)

Though she is really really busy right now. So i have no idea how she would run you. I could do it and give ya a rate, but that would be illegal

Just shop around is the best way.

Progressive is a high risk company. Normally the people they save money for are people that have bad driving records. Normally. They are a good company and customer service is the industry standard.

Good luck whatever you do.

I get my insurance from concord insurance (800) 725-2525. My family was using USAA (the army insurance) which was the cheapest, but these people beat them by about half. It is 900 something per year full coverage on my car, but I am a secondary driver on it. The primary driver is my father. They are pretty cheap if you want to go with them. Good luck.
