Bike got totalled
So I let my good friend drive my bike last night, and he wrecked it. Lucky to be alive. He'll be alright, he's going into surgery right now to reconstruct his knee caps and remove road-rash induced dead tissue.

He hit the brakes thru a puddle of water, locked up the front wheel and fell over. Bike kept going and hit a curb... Hard.
Gimme a call if you're on my side of town, you can come check it out.

How long has he been riding? Did he even have a class M? Sounds like a very inexperienced rider to me.
I NEVER let buddies borrow my bikes specifically for this reason... 1st time I ever let someone ride one of my motorcycles, it came back needing a new faring.

Actually that was the plan, until I looked at the motor the next day and saw a big hole in it.

wheres the hole at?
i know a guy in dallas who owns a small vintage bike/scooter shop.
if he cant fix it, he and point you to someone who can... in the vintage bike world, you cant always buy another cover, so you have to be able to repair castings...
